Emerging technologies like HD, mobile media and web-based video are radically changing the way we view entertainment.  Like the advent of sound for motion pictures or color in television, the revolution in media technology has opened up vast opportunities for production and distribution.  The New Media Foundation seeks to be an innovative presence in the development and distribution of media content for emerging technology platforms presenting opportunities to talented filmmakers and artists that previously were unavailable or cost-prohibitive.
